Job Description:
Description Job Summary: The Electrical Apprentice will work
under the supervision of electricians to gain hands-on experience
in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems. This
role is crucial to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our
facilities. Essential Responsibilities and Duties: Assist
electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of
electrical systems, equipment, and components. Perform routine
inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance
with safety and operational standards. Learn and adhere to
industry-specific safety procedures and protocols, including those
related to hazardous environments. Support the installation of
wiring, conduit, and other electrical components according to
blueprints, schematics, and technical documents. Participate in
troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues, helping to
identify and implement effective solutions. Maintain tools,
equipment, and work areas in a safe, clean, and organized manner.
Document work performed, including recording measurements, testing
results, and any issues encountered. Attend training sessions to
gain knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on
time and within budget. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and
safety standards at all times. Qualifications Qualifications and
Education Requirements: High school diploma or GED required.
Enrollment in or completion of an electrical apprenticeship program
is preferred. Basic understanding of electrical systems,
blueprints, and schematics. Strong mechanical aptitude and
problem-solving skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks
and environments. Ability to work in physically demanding
conditions, including extreme weather, confined spaces, and
heights. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well
in a team environment. Must be able to pass a drug test and
background check. Valid driver’s license and reliable
transportation. Work Environment: This role is situated within an
outdoor environment and regularly will be conducted in various
weather conditions. This is a full-time position with working hours
scheduled during various hours. Physical Demands: The physical
demands described here are representative of those that must be met
by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of
this job. While executing job responsibilities, the employee will
be required to engage regularly in standing, walking, sitting,
manual manipulation of objects, tools, or controls, reaching,
climbing stairs, and verbal communication. The employee will also
be expected to have the ability to climb ladders, work from an
elevated location, lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and
crawl. Additionally, the employee will need to be able to
frequently and repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds. Travel: Daily
travel within a limited area is expected for this position. Please
