Will Do: The Pratt & Whitney Columbus Forge Blades (CFB) Module
Center Manufacturing Engineering Organization is seeking a Process
Manufacturing Engineer to support CFB for machining processes.
Responsible for all aspects of machining processes and standing up
new machining processes from the ground up including fixturing,
process tryout, work instruction, standard work, and gaining
engineering source approval. Develop and implement plans that are
in line with the business strategy to further our world class
technology portfolio; provide operational engineering support to
develop technologies and processes which support the growth curve
and cost reduction targets. Leverage manufacturing innovations to
improve cost, delivery, and quality of aerospace blade forgings;
assist with problem solving during manufacturing related
investigation; own relentless RCCA for correcting non-conformance
in the part families. Optimize, automate and trim waste; maintain
work instructions applicable to machining processes including but
not limited to grinding, milling, and EDM. Support operational
excellence using statistical analysis for process control and
certification; develop blade process using statistical methods that
meet or exceed the business objective for process control; provide
focused & effective leadership in eliminating
EH&S/Ergonomics/Human Factors risks and addressing quality
issues. Qualifications You Must Have: Bachelor’s degree in
Engineering or closely related technical discipline and 2 or more
years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations,
quality or closely related environment or a Master's degree and at
least 1 year in an engineering, manufacturing operations, quality
or closely related environment Working knowledge of Microsoft
Office computer software including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and
Outlook Experience managing multiple projects with competing
priorities in a constantly fluctuating work environment
Qualifications We Prefer: Degree in aerospace, industrial,
mechanical or manufacturing engineering Understanding of continuous

in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all
production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the
development of our engines. As part of our commitment to

as on-site, hybrid or remote. The salary range for this role is
68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith
estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers

candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key
