The Vice President for Advancement, Business and Government Relations plays a critical role in advancing the college's mission by leading all development efforts by OC and the OC Foundation Board. As well as developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with business, community, and government leaders throughout the Permian Basin. Reporting directly to the College President, the Vice President for Advancement, Business and Government Relations ensures that key business, community, and government partnerships are maintained and included in relevant strategic initiatives. Specific Position Duties Provide leadership and oversight for the resource development activities of the College. -
Provide leadership, supervise, and coordinate fundraising activities of the College, and the OC Foundation, including donor recognition activities, naming opportunities and gift acknowledgments. -
Supervises and leads annual giving campaigns benefiting the College and Community. -
Establish and cultivate key relationships with business, community, and government leaders. -
Develop and execute a comprehensive and proactive business, community, and government relations strategy that advances the college's vision and strategic priorities. -
Provide consistent representation of the college at business, community, and government meetings and events. -
Maintain communication legislative officials and keep the college up to date with legislative updates and priorities. -
Provide quarterly reports to the college's administrative team, highlighting key partnerships, communication timelines, and emerging needs. -
Lead special projects and initiatives on behalf of the College President. -
Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree; Demonstrated ability to raise funds through various efforts; Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with people from varied backgrounds; Strong communication and organizational skills. Industrious, self-motivated, productive, cooperative personality. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution of higher education in education, leadership, business, management, or related field. -

Demonstrated ability to foster relationships with business, community, and/or government leaders. -

Demonstrated leadership experience. -

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -
