A facility is seeking an emergency medicine physician for locum tenens coverage. In Andrews, Texas, you can enjoy a range of fun activities. Visit the Lakeside Park for outdoor fun, with fishing, picnicking, and walking trails The facility offers flexible shift options, including 24-hour, and 36-hour shifts, with times available from 7 AM to 7 AM, 7 AM to 7 PM, and 7 PM to 7 AM. This position requires solo MD coverage and proficiency in ER procedures, with comfort in treating patients of all ages. Candidates must have an active Texas medical license and DEA,. Providers do not need to be board-certified or board-eligible as long as they have completed a residency in any specialty with ER experience. Additionally, active certifications in ACLS, ATLS, and PALS are required if not ABEM-certified. The EMR system used is Meditech, and credentialing can be completed in under 30 days for temporary privileges. Travel and lodging expenses will be covered.
