(5x8's) Job Description from Facility: The Ultrasound Technician is
a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the
American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a
State License as a general radiographer, and/or is a Registered
Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS). The Ultrasound Technician is
responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both
inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and
departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not
limited to: abdominal, pelvic, (gynecological & obstetrical), and
transvaginal sonograms. Additionally is proficient at scanning
small parts (thyroid, breast & scrotom) along with
ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis
and aspirations. Requirements: 2YRS Exp Working in Specialty 2YRS
Exp Working Only in Acute Care Setting ACTIVE BLS (AHA) This is for
our High Risk MFM clinic, so MFM is REQUIRED Must have exp with
high risk mothers and pregnancy ARRT Required State License as a
general radiographer, and/or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical
