Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 12 Weeks
Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an
emergency department of equivalent size required. License: Active
nursing license required before start. Certifications: ACLS, BLS,
PALS, TNCC required (must be willing to obtain if offered).
Must-Have: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC certifications. 2 years of
experience in an emergency department of equivalent size. Charting
experience in Cerner preferred. Description: The position requires
the candidate to manage a variety of critical situations.
Candidates will handle patients with abdominal pain, acute
psychosis, asthma, and burns. The role involves emergency
medications and care for ventilated patients. Skills in central
line care, CPAP/BiPAP, and drug overdose management are necessary.
The nurse will manage patient care during acute events and
injuries, including gunshot wounds and head injuries. The candidate
must be capable of interpreting arterial blood gases and
dysrhythmias. The job requires starting and maintaining IVs and
managing mental health crises. Candidates will work with diverse
patient age groups, including neonates, adolescents, and
geriatrics. The daily census in the unit is approximately 200
patients. The position may require working some holidays. An
on-site drug screen will be conducted as part of the hiring
