We re seeking two full-time Neonatologists to join a growing NICU program in Odessa, Texas . You ll play a key role in a Level II NICU with a planned transition to Level III , offering the chance to help shape and elevate the program. Currently a 12-bed NICU , designed to support both growth and high-quality patient care. Approximately 1,400 annual deliveries , serving a broad regional population. Average daily census of 6 7 patients , allowing for thoughtful, patient-centered care. Your Daily Adventures Will Include: Managing neonates born at 32 weeks gestation or greater and weighing 1,500 grams or more . Caring for convalescing infants transitioning out of intensive care. Providing short-term mechanical ventilation support as needed. Stabilizing and coordinating transfer of critically ill neonates requiring higher-level care. Treating infants with perinatal substance exposure , including scoring and pharmacologic management. Managing low-birth-weight infants who require extended monitoring, feeding support, and nursing care. Delivering critical neonatal interventions such as CPR, cardiac monitoring, oxygen therapy, and acute stabilization. The Schedule & Perks: Combination of in-house daytime coverage and on-call overnight responsibilities . 30-minute response time for call.
