Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Odessa, Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - OR /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 8-hour shifts /n• On-call requirement of 8 days per month /n• Must wear navy scrubs /n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS /n• Local candidates not accepted /n• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in surgical patient care /n• Work as a member of the surgical team with surgeons, anesthesiologists, ORTs and other personnel /n• Ensure supplies are available and maintain timeliness of surgical cases /n• Communicate with patient families /n• Update physician preference cards /n• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical procedures /n• Supervise personnel delivering patient care /n• Follow State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, regulatory requirements, physician orders, and hospital policies /n• Anticipate and plan for patient care in the operating room environment /n/n Facility: /n This medical center operates a comprehensive surgical department that provides a wide range of surgical services to the community.
