Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in integrated healthcare services, is seeking a Wound Program Coordinator to join our dedicated team. This role is crucial in overseeing the assessment, treatment, and management of patient wounds across our inpatient rehabilitation and home health settings. With a focus on promoting the best possible patient outcomes, the Wound Program Coordinator will implement and refine wound care protocols, educate staff, and ensure compliance with the highest standards of care. Develop and implement comprehensive wound care protocols. Train and support nursing staff in current and new wound care procedures. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards related to wound care. Monitor patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize care plans. Lead interdisciplinary team meetings to review patient care and protocol efficacy. Track and report on key metrics related to wound care management. Expertise in wound care and management. Strong leadership and training abilities. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in using healthcare IT systems. Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) preferred. Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
