Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a compassionate and
diligent Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational
Nurse (LVN) to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this role,
you will provide essential nursing care within our inpatient
rehabilitation hospitals, contributing to the recovery and wellness
of our patients. This position requires a professional who can
deliver patient care with respect and empathy, ensuring the comfort
and safety of each patient through tailored medical services.
Monitor patient health and document any changes in status.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a healthcare
provider. Provide basic patient care, including bathing, dressing,
and feeding. Assist with mobility and transportation of patients.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare
team. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients. Educate
patients and their families on health management and recovery
techniques. Strong practical nursing skills. Excellent
communication and interpersonal capabilities. Ability to work
effectively in a fast-paced environment. Comprehensive knowledge of
health and safety guidelines. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance 401k Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license. CPR and Basic Life Support
(BLS) certifications.
