Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is searching for a dedicated and
compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational
Nurse (LVN) to join our dynamic team. This position will play a
crucial role in delivering high-quality care within our network of
inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and home health services. As an
LPN-LVN II, you will contribute to the health and well-being of
patients by providing essential nursing care, managing patient
treatments, and ensuring the optimal execution of prescribed
medical interventions. This opportunity not only enables you to
work closely with a team of skilled healthcare professionals but
also provides a pathway to impact lives within a supportive and
expansive care environment. Administer prescribed medications,
monitor vital signs, and document treatment progress. Collaborate
with registered nurses and doctors to implement comprehensive
patient care plans. Provide emotional support and education to
patients and their families on managing recoveries. Ensure
adherence to all safety and patient care standards. Assist with
diagnostic testing and the interpretation of results. Manage
patient records and maintain confidentiality as per HIPAA
regulations. Proficient in administering medications and providing
various treatments. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in both independent and team settings.
Empathetic and compassionate approach to patient care. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current LPN or LVN
license in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certification.
