Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in facility-based and
home-based patient care, is seeking a compassionate and skilled
LPN-LVN II to join our dedicated healthcare team. This role
involves working in our inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and may
require visits to our home health or hospice agencies as needed.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a healthcare setting
and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. As an LPN-LVN
II, you will play a crucial role in the recovery and well-being of
our patients, working closely with a team of healthcare
professionals to deliver high-quality care. This position offers a
unique opportunity to enhance your skills and knowledge within a
supportive and dynamic environment. Provide nursing care and
support within the assigned facilities under the supervision of an
RN or physician. Administer medications and treatments as
prescribed and monitor patients' responses. Collaborate with a
multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate patient care plans.
Record patients' medical histories and symptoms, maintain accurate
records, and report any changes in condition. Educate patients and
their families on health maintenance and disease prevention. Assist
with diagnostic tests and analyze results. Implement infection
control protocol and maintain safe and clean working environments.
Strong clinical skills with an emphasis on patient relations,
assessment, and hygiene assistance Proficient in administering
medication and understanding of treatment protocols Ability to
maintain detailed and accurate records Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills Knowledge of emergency response and crisis
intervention Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
401k Current LPN or LVN license valid in the state of employment.
CPR certification IV therapy certification preferred
