hours total of stroke education (can be provided if needed) - EKG
course completion (can be provided if needed) - Willingness to
float to Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, Emergency Room for Critical
Care holds Description: Seeking a Critical Care Registered Nurse
for an Intensive Care Unit. The nurse will provide critical care to
patients with life-threatening conditions. Responsibilities include
monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing
complex medical equipment. The nurse will collaborate with
interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care. Candidates
must have previous experience in charge roles and manage a patient
ratio of 2-3. Experience with Cerner charting system is required.
Preferred experience includes working in a community hospital and
with Level II Trauma care. Travel experience is required. Skills in
neuro-intensive care, surgical intensive care, and ventilator
management are essential. Additional responsibilities include
interpreting dysrhythmias, managing multi-system organ dysfunction,
and post-operative care. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge in
infection prevention and possess strong critical thinking skills.
Willingness to float to other specialties as necessary is
