Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our cutting-edge health team. This role focuses on supporting patient recovery, promoting health, preventing disease, and helping patients cope with illness. With a focus on patient-centered care, you will be essential in delivering care that improves the well-being of those we serve. Monitor patient health and maintain accurate records of vital signs and medical information. Administer medications and treatments, such as injections, catheterizations, and wound care. Collaborate with registered nurses, physicians, and other health care providers to assess patient needs and plan care. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and preventive care. Supervise nursing assistants and aides, providing guidance and instruction. Participate in the assessment, implementation, and evaluation of individual patient care plans. Report any changes in patient's condition to the supervising nurse or physician. Strong clinical skills including medication administration Excellent observational abilities Ability to perform standard nursing procedures Strong interpersonal and communication skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current LPN/LVN license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certified or ability to become certified IV certification preferred
