Job Description:
Encompass Health seeks a dedicated Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
to join our patient-focused healthcare team, providing elevated
care across the post-acute continuum in 42 states. As part of our
compassionate team, the respiratory therapist will play a crucial
role in our integrated healthcare services, facilitating both
facility-based and home-based respiratory care. This position not
only calls for clinical proficiency but also a commitment to
enhancing patient satisfaction and delivering cost-effective care,
aligning with Encompass Health’s mission to provide high-quality
healthcare. Assess and monitor patient respiratory functions and
progress. Develop and implement respiratory care plans and
administer medications. Operate and maintain various types of
respiratory care equipment. Educate patients and families on
respiratory treatments and maintenance routines. Collaborate with a
multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal care. Document patient
care and outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Proficiency in using respiratory care devices and equipment Strong
understanding of respiratory care procedures and protocols
Effective communication and patient education abilities Ability to
work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified as a Registered
Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory
Care (NBRC) State licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (as
applicable)
