Job Description:

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our multifaceted healthcare team. This position offers the opportunity to work both in our state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and in home-based settings to provide holistic, high-quality care tailored to patients recovering from a variety of significant medical conditions. As an RN at Encompass Health, you will play a crucial role in patient recovery, providing compassionate care, and supporting patients and their families throughout the rehabilitation process. Assess patient conditions by monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and maintaining patient records. Create and implement effective care plans tailored to each patient's needs. Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and post-treatment care. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care. Participate in patient rounds and provide updates on patient progress to healthcare team members. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. Advocate for the needs of patients. Maintain safe and clean working environments by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with patients and team members Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills Proficiency in using healthcare software and medical equipment Ability to manage multiple patients and prioritize tasks effectively Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid RN license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certified Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
