Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation, a leading provider of inpatient
rehabilitation, home health, and hospice care, is seeking a
dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. This
position offers the unique opportunity to work across our diverse
care settings, providing both facility-based and home-based patient
care. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in
implementing and evaluating patient care plans, ensuring the
highest standards of healthcare service are maintained. You will
collaborate with a dynamic team of medical professionals to support
patient recovery and enhance the quality of life of those entrusted
to our care. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Administer
medications, maintain detailed patient records, and monitor patient
vitals and progress. Provide direct patient care and educate
patients and their families on health management, disease
prevention, and post-hospital care. Supervise a team of nursing
assistants and support staff to ensure compliance with all federal
and state regulations. Participate in professional development
activities and remain informed on the latest healthcare practices
and standards. Strong clinical skills with a focus on
patient-centered care Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Ability to work effectively in both independent and team
settings Adept in using electronic health record systems Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice CPR certification ACLS
(Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification preferred
