Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team, providing exceptional speech therapy services to patients across our integrated healthcare facilities and home-based settings in 42 states. As part of our commitment to delivering high-quality, cost-effective care, the successful candidate will diagnose, treat, and help prevent communication and swallowing disorders in patients. You will work closely with individuals who suffer from a range of conditions, including neurological, developmental, and age-related impairments, to improve their quality of life. Assess and evaluate patient needs and develop appropriate therapy plans Provide therapy interventions to facilitate speech, language, and swallowing abilities Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to plan and provide patient care Educate families and caregivers on communication techniques and strategies Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to treatment planning Strong understanding of speech-language pathology principles and practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in navigating medical software and patient databases Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current state licensure as an SLP ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
