Mammography Tech Location: Midland, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,786 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Mammography Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Mammography Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (09:00 - 18:00) Experience: 2 years required License: Active Texas license required Certifications: ARRT M, ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: Previous travel experience preferred Description: Start date is in the next 3-5 weeks. Normal hours will be from 9 AM to 6 PM with a 1-hour lunch. May be required to stay until 7 PM 1-2 times per month. Possible Saturday coverage from 8 AM to 2 PM. No call required. 2 years of experience is required. Previous travel experience is preferred. An active Texas license is required. Charting system experience with Cerner is mandatory. Ability to perform various mammographic procedures, including 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, and digital mammography. Knowledge of digital quality assurance procedures is essential. Experience in fine needle aspiration and stereotactic biopsy is preferred. Demonstrated understanding of outpatient services and radiation safety is necessary. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. The daily census is approximately 40 visits. There are two rooms available for procedures. Expectation to work some holidays. An on-site drug screen will be conducted upon hire. Failure to pass the drug screen will result in cancellation of the assignment.
