Job Description:
Encompass Health is currently seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide
to join our team. Located across 42 states, we are committed to
providing top-notch healthcare services, focusing on efficient and
high-quality solutions. As a part of our food and beverage
operations within our healthcare facilities, the Dietary Aide will
play a pivotal role in ensuring patient satisfaction and adherence
to dietary guidelines set forth by our nutritional team. This
position requires a compassionate individual who is dedicated to
supporting our commitment to exceptional care. Prepare and serve
meals to patients based on specific dietary requirements. Assist in
the kitchen operations, including meal preparation, cleaning, and
maintaining safe food handling practices. Monitor patient food
intake and report on any concerns to the nutritional team. Ensure
compliance with all health and safety regulations within the
kitchen and dining areas. Coordinate with healthcare professionals
to update patient diets as necessary. Knowledge of hygiene and
safety standards in food handling Understanding of basic nutrition
and dietetics Ability to follow recipes and cooking instructions
Good communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Food Handler's Certificate
or equivalent is preferred. CPR certification is a plus.
