Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Aide to join our team within the healthcare sector, assisting in our food service operations that cater to our facility-based and home-based patient care services across 42 states. The Kitchen Aide will work under the supervision of our dietary managers and alongside nutritionists to prepare and deliver quality meal solutions tailored to patient needs, ensuring compliance with dietary restrictions and health standards. This role is crucial in supporting our commitment to high-quality, cost-effective care by maintaining a safe, clean, and organized kitchen environment. Assist with the preparation and delivery of meals according to established health and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils. Monitor inventory levels and report needs to the kitchen manager or dietician. Comply with dietary orders and ensure portion control for patient meals. Support kitchen staff in other related tasks to enhance operational efficiency. Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils Awareness of hygiene and safety regulations in a kitchen setting Ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines meticulously Strong teamwork and organizational skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Food Handler's certification is highly desired.
