Production Job Descriptions: Level 1 Mechanic: 0-1 year experience $16-18/hour Entry level position. Willing to learn. Must have basic small hand tools. Capable of changing filters, hoses, etc. Level 2 Mechanic: 2-3 years experience $19-25/hour Entry level position. Willing to learn. Must have basic small hand tools. Capable of changing filters, hoses, etc. Ability to diagnosis potential issues. Able to read repair procedures and execute. Can replace heads on turbos, etc. Level 3 Mechanic: 4+ years experience $26-30/hr Has own tools. Capable of changing filters, hoses, etc. Ability to diagnosis potential issues. Able to read repair procedures and execute. Can replace heads on turbos, etc. Capable of full engine overhauls alone. Experience supervising/leading small groups of employees. Electrical Technician (E-Tech): $25-30/hr Experienced in ERAD electronics, electronics on most frac pumps, capable handling transducers, and basic wiring skills for lighting and other simple circuits. As an employee they would make $25-$30/hr based on experience level. Fluent in data acquisition and computer diagnostics. Background in MDT, LIME, or Rolagon preferred. Transmission Job Descriptions: Experienced Transmission Mechanic: Level One: 1-3years experience - $20-25/hr Level Two: 3-5 years experience - $25-28/hr Level Three: 5+ years experience - $29+/hr L&Ms Transmission Repair Technician specializes in repairing and maintaining industrial/commercial and off-highway transmissions. Specifically, but not limited to, the Allison 6000/9000 and Twin Disc 6500/8500 Series. These technicians work with the highest level of quality assurance and attention to detail. Our Transmission Teams are experienced in the Theory of Operation behind each transmission. This ensures our technicians not only have the skillset to diagnose/troubleshoot but to ins pect/repair all aspects of these transmissions. Not only do our technicians have the technical knowledge but they also bring with them their own tools and experiences with a variety of specially made tools and equipment. This includes operating a forklift, and wide range of cranes and winches. Also the skillset behind welding and utilizing a cutting torch. The second cornerstone to L&M s success is effective communication when serving customers and dealing with difficult situations. Transmission Shop Helper: 0-1 year experience $16-22/hr Additional Information: Certain Brand, Equipment or Vehicles: Cummins, MTU, CAT, Rolagon, Twin Disc, Allison, Easton Fuller, E-Rad, MDT, LIME Any Certifications/Endorsements Required: CDL preferred but not required Must have their own tools Days of week/hours worked : M-F, Saturdays as needed, no work on Sundays 40-60 hr/week, depending on work load Any other information you d like to see in your candidates i.e licenses, endorsements, certifications, etc. Any and all licenses and certification will take precedence.
