Installs and maintains ignition systems and other various types of
gas and oil production equipment in a field environment while being
directly in charge of job safety and completion.
Essential Job Functions:
-- Supports a philosophy of zero accidents by following all
applicable safety procedures and maintaining equipment to operate
in the safest way possible
-- Performs work associated with pipefitting of oil and gas
-- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and rules.
-- Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.
-- Flexibility to work hours necessary to meet customer
-- Installs and maintains burner management systems in a field
-- Assist Field Service Crews with equipment repairs and
maintenance as needed.
-- Maintain paperwork and field tickets for billing purposes.
-- Startup, Troubleshooting, inspection and repair of Oil and Gas
-- Works closely with Cimarron Customers to ensure job
-- Fills out all safety documentation to ensure job is completed in
a safe manner
-- Maintains Company truck and ensures all required maintenance is
-- Good comprehension of ASME BPV VIII code and ASME B31.3 process
piping code for design.
-- Advanced knowledge in the use of ASME design standards (B16.5,
B16.9, B16.11, etc.) for piping design.
-- Understanding of structural member sizes and selection for the
design of equipment skids.
-- Good comprehension of AWS standards for Weld symbol and use on
-- Familiarity with shop fabrication methods (rolling, welding,
machining operations) and design feasibility evaluations and cost
-- Competency knowledge in shop fabrication drawings, materials of
construction, manufacturing, welding, post weld heat treatment
(PWHT), non-destructive testing (NDT), hydrostatic testing, shop
inspection (QA/QC) and documentation requirements.
-- Capable of finalizing the equipment layout with consideration of
design requirements, safety and accessibility. Ensures adherence to
quality and cost parameters of the project.
-- Ability to take a project from the evaluation stage through
detail design and final release of customer and fabrication
-- Computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office application
package and ERP & MRP database driven software.
-- Good organizational and project planning skills.
-- Associate's technical degree or high school diploma.
